Establishing of DWT
The company DWT was founded in Gelsenkirchen as a supplier of industrial tools for the mining and heavy industry in the Ruhr Area.

1990

Establishing a subsidiary
Establishing subsidiary DWT Berlin GmbH, to take advantage of new opportunities in East Germany after reunion.

1999

E-Commerce Award
DWT wins E-Commerce Award for the development of electronic shopping carts.

2000

License Production Babcock
DWT takes over the production of pipe beveling machines from the German steam boiler manufacturer "Deutsche Babcock", who developed the products for their own workers on-site.

2001

System Supplier of Deutsche Bahn
DWT GmbH becomes system supplier of "Deutsche Bahn" for bolting systems, handling technology and measuring systems.

2005

Company Moving
DWT moves from Gelsenkirchen to Essen to expand production capacities.

2007

DWT India
DWT expands its worldwide sales presence in the Indian market with a sales office in Mumbai.

2010

DWT South East Asia
DWT expands its worldwide sales presence in the Asian market with a sales office in Malaysia.

2012

Anniversary
DWT celebrates 25 year anniversary.

2014

Groundbreaking
Groundbreaking of the new headquater consisting of administration, stock and production, located in Bottrop.

2015

Company Moving
Moving into the new headquater, located in Bottrop, with a total area of 13.000 qm and investment of 4 Million Euro.

2016

Acquisition
DWT takes over the company Benien Bolting Systems, located in Bremen.

2017

Acquisition
DWT takes over the company Airtool from Austria.

Acquisition
DWT takes over the company Airtechnik from Alfdorf.

Sustainability
DWT produces sustainable energy from sunlight with its own photovoltaic system.

DWT Middle East

DWT expands its worldwide sales presence in the Middle East market with a sales office in Abu Dhabi.
