Pipe beveling machine Type MF2iw

The portable MF2iw is used for weld preparation of tube ends, branches and headers. It is used for steam bloc vessles to process pipe walls, to cut out pipes or to chamfer welds. MF2iw is be equipped with a compressed air motor that arranged in 90° to the sleeve.

The clamping is controlled by switching the lever star wheel, the feed by turning the star handle.

Machine operation
The air supply of the pneumatic drive is done with a safety-turning valve, which operates the motor. By throttling the air supply, the motor speed can be controlled.

The Model MF2iw is fixed in the pipe through self-centering sleeves with exchangeable clamping pins that acts on the ID. The sleeve is operated by a star wheel on the back of the machine. The feed of the milling spindle works manually. It operates with a star handle.

Several tools that can be used are HSS tool bits or inserts with insert holder, which are clamped in a tool holder adapted to the processing size. To cover the whole clamping area with a pipe ID from 0,433-0,866" internal pipe diameter three clamping bushings are available. Each complete sleeve consists of a sleeve and a tension rod.
